I identified very early on that I was interested and excited by STEM. What started as participating in engineering challenges through Odyssey of the Mind has resulted into a passion for all things STEM. I continued for the next 4 years in Odyssey and took on First Lego League. During that time I went to World Finals twice for Odyssey and went to sectionals, regionals, and state twice in First Lego League. In the past 4 years I decided to take some programming courses such as App Camp for Girls, Rebecca Coder Dojo, Digigirlz, Camp Explore, and more. One of my significant accomplishments is making my first working app from concept to design to execution to pitch and presenting it solo in front of a audience composed of judges and fellow participants. That was my first year of Technovation[MN]. I participated in the Technovation[Alexa] challenge and I am looking forward to a third year in the 2021 Technovation challenge. I hope to continue my love for technology and major in Software Engineering and minor in Computer Science at Iowa State University. In my spare time I enjoy participating in school sports such as golf, soccer, and winter guard. I have also enjoyed dancing with a local dance studio for the past 12 years.
