This page is about my sports and activities I am involved in, including pictures:
Soccer
I started soccer when I was 6 or 7 with South St. Paul Packers. As I moved up in the age brackets I soon found my love for being a full-time goalie. I have been a goalie for around 4 years now. While playing full year/traveling soccer for the Packers, I started playing for my school. This will be my 4th season with my school, and my 2nd on the highschool team. I still am continuing playing goalie for HSGS (Henry Sibley Girls Soccer) but I have moved on from the Packers these last tryouts. I now play goalie for Salvo after making the team!
Dance
I started dance at my local studio, Nancy Raddatz Dance Studio, when I was 3. I have progressed from just doing tap to doing tap, jazz, lyrical, dance team (kick and jazz), pointe, and ballet! I have had the same amazing dance teacher since I started, along with the same teacher, I have had the same classmates since then too! Some are starting to drop but I hope to stay until I graduate highschool. Along with staying there, I have recently gotten a job there as a student teacher. So hopefully next year I will be a teacher there and teach my own dance classes!
Winterguard
I started Winterguard at Henry Sibley my 7th grade year. I wasn't suppose to join, but I went to their open house to decide if I wanted to either do winterguard or dance team the next year. After the open house my mom recieved an email from the coach asking if I would join them that season. After a few talks I joined the team. The group of girls I joined have been amazing! This past season was cut short but I was able to have several solos in the shows we were able to do! If you don't know what winterguard is, it is colorguard (the flag spinners you see in parades) but inside, during the winter, and more of a dance/performance.
Golf
I originally had my first round of golf when I was 5. But besides just fun rounds with my family, I didn't focus anything on my golf game, up until 9th grade year. I needed a spring sport to try and decided on golf for Henry Sibley. I was just expecting to do practice squad with my mom's highschool clubs, but I made JV! I had an amazing season and did my first 18 holes with a score of 118. I was suppose to try out again this past season but it ended up being cancelled. So I took matters into my own hand and signed up for several Junior PGA Tours over the summer to make sure I would still be good for the next season. I ended up having a lot of fun and imrpoved to a 106!
